Work & Life Experience

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I studied Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal Rural University. Previous to my degree, I took a six month exchange with the Catholic University in France, where I toured Europe visiting the many architectural references first hand.

Back in Brasil I worked on several big scale projects at Acropole Architecture and EMR architecture.

Wanting to explore other fields in architecture, I took an opportunity at Valeria Araujo. This studio specialises in franchises and attending major Brazilian and international clients such as Spoleto, Starbucks, Domino's, Koni Store and many others. I enriched my skills in developing projects that embody brand's identity within the possibilities of the sites.

During this period, I studied a specialisation in Interior Design at the Pontifical Catholic University. Once finished, I went on to broaden my horizons and started working at the Movement Architecture. A boutique studio focused on Interior Design. This was an exciting and challenging experience.

I was selected by the Rio de Janeiro's government to work for the state and have been in charge of analysis and inspection for compliance of legislation and zoning codes in a specific neighbourhood in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2016 I moved to New Zealand, after a couple of months traveling around the country we decided to set base in Auckland. I started working as a interior designer for Stack Interiors, there I gained experience with workplace projects and the Kiwi construction space.

As a freelancer I had the opportunity to design cafes around Auckland like Major Tom, Just like Martha and Rude Boy.

Currently I’m working as a Senior Interior Designer for Tailor Inc.
